Sindh Flood 2022

The Fikr-e-Saadat Welfare Foundation launched a critical humanitarian mission to assist 8000+ flood-affected Sadaat families in Sanghar. Recognizing the devastating impact of the floods, our team provided comprehensive relief tailored to the specific needs of the community. We distributed essential grocery packs containing Rice, Lentils, Oil, Wheat Flour, Tea Leaf and Besan to ensure families had sustenance during the crisis. To address the immediate loss of housing, we provided waterproof tents, offering families safety and temporary shelter from the elements. Beyond basic survival, we prioritized health by supplying clean drinking water to prevent waterborne diseases. We also focused on the emotional recovery of the children by distributing biscuits and toffees to bring them comfort and distraction. Our support extended to psychological counseling to help victims cope with trauma. This mission demonstrated our unwavering commitment to alleviating suffering and fostering resilience, helping the Sadaat community recover and rebuild their lives with dignity.
